My Story
As a retired pediatric and adult oncology nurse, I worked for over a decade in the bone marrow transplant unit.
It seems like my life changed overnight when I contracted Covid in 2020 and woke up unable to speak, walk or live my “normal” life. With so little knowledge and treatments available, I spent the last two years tirelessly searching for answers while learning to rehabilitate myself.
After participating in NIH trial studies of my symptoms, brain rehab at The Mayo Clinic and finally alternative healing therapies from Aviv Clinics at The Villages— I am finally on the other side and want nothing more than to share what I’ve learned and help anyone struggling from the long-term effects of this invisible illness.
I now work as an educator, patient advocate, and intuitive empathic patient healthcare provider.
If you are struggling with Long COVID or metabolic dysfunction, I want you to know that you are not alone. And while you may not return completely to who you were before illness, you can still live your best life and rehabilitate yourself.
